The bond that man and dog share Victoria BC Family and Pet Photographer

I was skimming through old photos and found these. They were taken in 2011 when Todd and I took Bear to Cape Scott for a few days of camping. If you have never been there, it is near Port Hardy and is remote! Seriously. We only went to the first camp area, and that was a 45 minute hike in…. there is a toilet but no running water. We camped on the beach and other than a few day trippers, we were the only ones there.

Magical.

Bear was 11 at the time. Funny old guy. Never really been to the ocean before, so he kept drinking it. We had to stay away from the waterline after that.

These pictures are exactly Todd’s relationship with Bear. 🙂 We sure do miss him.
