Welcome to Sushi Rice Studios!
I believe three things about photography.
- I believe that photography should be FUN! A photography session should be something you look forward to, not something that you dread. And photography should reflect the fun in your life, or how much fun you had at your wedding.
- I believe that photography should be TIMELESS! You should love your photographs as much as the day they were taken. I accomplish this through relaxed poses (I will guide you through posing if you are uncomfortable, or let you fly with it, if you are comfortable in front of the camera), and photojournalism (capturing the moments as they happen).
- I believe that photography should be about LOVE! Love for your family. Love for your significant other (or soon to be significant other). Love for yourself.
Fun, timeless and love-filled wedding and portrait photography. It’s as simple as that.

I loved the unexpected adventure Shari and the weather both took us on. Shari's energy and 'care-free' attitude was very welcoming. I didn't feel awkward at all, even though I was pretty much making out with my boyfriend in front of the camera. It was a wonderful gift to be able to capture my love for my soulmate through pictures for the very first time.

Our favourite part of the day was getting to share our special place with you. You made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera. Our most memorable shot was with those ducks on the bridge.....trying to steal our shot!

We really enjoyed the laid back, fun atmosphere and being able to be ourselves. We didn't really expect to hit so many locations and kind of be free to pose how we felt comfortable.
I loved how relaxed and easy going you were. I didn't feel like we were in a rush and you were so patient with Iver and the pugs. It was wonderful and I was so happy with the speed of getting the pictures back and the quality of them as well.
I love them! You did a great job working with natural light and what we had.
