My beautiful mother

My mom doesn’t remember the last time she had a portrait taken of herself. Sound like a familiar story? Gone are the days when women got a portrait of themselves that was passed down the generations. You know the one? That classic, simple portrait that hung on the wall that people would say “wow, your mom/grandmother was gorgeous”.

Women don’t get portraits taken of themselves and that makes me sad. I’m so glad I could take pictures of my mother. She is getting some printed for her husband and I am getting some printed for my wall, so people who visit can tell me just how gorgeous my mother is. Because she is. And so are you… right now. Not 15 pounds lighter. Right now. 🙂
