Meet Gwen | Documentary Newborn Photography Victoria

This little lady has been giving her parents a run for their money. She will sleep when being held, but detests her bassinet. Doesn’t let mom and dad get much sleep. Good thing she’s pretty cute.

Look at that hair!

Dad got this outfit in London. Hamsters wearing glasses and tophats? Yes, please.

This one if my fav of the session. She looks contemplative.

The thing I like about documentary photography, is instead of going for a “perfect photo” you get real ones. Here, mom is telling me about how baby likes to always spread her toes.

Mom and dad also just bought this condo. I try to take some of the surroundings, because I don’t know about you, but when I look back at photos, I always think, wow, remember that couch, etc. Photos preserve our roots, physical memories.

Squeeeee.

Can’t help it when there is yummy light like this.

Grandma’s arms are pretty comfy too.

A little daddy daughter time.

No pictures please.

She was okay in the bassinet for about 30 seconds. Good thing I’m fast with the camera.

Grandma’s hands.

Snuggle time with dad.

Isn’t she a gem?

Mom said when I sent her the photos ” wow, she’s changed so much”. It had only been two weeks but newborns change that much.
