DogVacay Challenge – Victoria BC, a Dog’s Dream

Hi I’m Mari.

I’m 5 years old and a Rhodesian Ridgeback/ Lab cross.

Everyday I bug my mom to go for a walk by grunting at her, until she gets annoyed enough to let me have my way. And why wouldn’t you want to go for a walk? Victoria is a smelling wonderland with all the smells associated with living in the middle of a rainforest. DogVacay asked me to represent Victoria and there is no better way for me to show you how wonderful it is here than some pictures of me in my favourite places – parks.

Here I am at Elk Lake/ Beaver Lake. My mom had to try 3 times to get me to stop running around to take this shot.

Here I am at Tod Gowland Park. I think I see something in the bush.

Here I am at Beacon Hill Park. My mommy won’t let me off the leash here. I don’t know why, the ducks have nothing to fear from me… I’m scared of the water.

It’s been a good day when I have slobber wrapped around my nose. And almost everyday ends like that here in Victoria. So many parks, so little time.
