Meet Poppy – relaxed documentary newborn photography in Nanaimo BC

I can’t believe how fast 3 years goes by. 3 years ago I was in Nanaimo taking pictures of Eddy and now he is a big brother (and a very enthusiastic one at that). He even named his new baby sister. Meet Miss Poppy, who was having none of me.

Poppy is two weeks old here (I think technically 16 days) and yes, she did have that much hair coming out. She wasn’t like a typical newborn. So strong and not squishy.

These two are going to get into so much trouble together. Ha!

Gawd, those eyes.

I prefer to get candid shots of families than all posed. I think they are more real and show real relationships.
