Fine Art Portraits | Women in Nature | Thetis Lake, Sam and Smoke Grenades
OMG… I am so excited about using smoke grenades. Especially after this shoot. Sam is such a natural infront of the camera. And smoke grenades just add something. Plus, Thetis lake…. come on. So gorgeous.
The hat was her grandpas… and I’m so glad she brought it to the shoot. Adds something… don’t know how to describe it.
Ok. So the first smoke grenade. I pulled the trigger out. It sparked. I screeched like a little girl. I dropped it. It rolled into Thetis Lake. So much for $12 I thought. But no… apparently smoke grenades will work even in water.
Thank goodness it did work or we wouldn’t have gotten this gorgeousness.
Or this one. I mean… meow.
Sam, you are adorable.
The second smoke bomb was larger and got a little out of control. I mean, it put out so much smoke. The next three are black and white because the smoke was out of control. But I still really like the photos.
The next one is my favourite.
To quote Sam, “the water isn’t that bad”. Maybe because the last time I asked her to get in the water, it was January.
Ok. Maybe this one is my favourite. Which one is yours? Leave me a comment below and let me know.
