Downtown Victoria and Beacon Hill Night Engagement Session
Meet Aaron and Eve. I was so excited when they said they wanted to do a Love and Light Session! I love shooting in the dark. They also said they were into more arty pictures. Yay. Fun times for me.
Aaron and Eve are getting married in Costa Rica next month, where they got engaged. Sounds heavenly right? Although spring is almost here in Victoria, it still isn’t Costa Rica. 🙂
See Aaron – not awkward in front of the camera. 🙂
I love this sculpture at the library. It’s sad that it’s in the courtyard, so many people never see it.
There was a gorgeous moon that night.
<3 black and white.
This is the Royal Theatre’s garage entrance… nothing but romance for this girl.
A gentleman offered to join in on this hug. Got a great reaction… thanks random dude.
Cherry blossoms in the background.
St. Anne’s Academy. Stills don’t give the full picture. If this was video, you would hear a yappy little dog.
A little moon action, because, why not?
I do all the Love and Light Sessions in black and white. This one has been processed that way as well. But I just felt like showing the original… this is straight out of camera. My camera was picking up crazy colours here…. LOVE!
Regarding the image below. At the start of this session, Aaron and Eve had the position – we don’t have any ideas… you are the professional. By the end of the session, they were coming up with ideas like this. I love when people get comfortable in front of the camera. Magic happens. Plus, this pose is fantastic!
Can you see them?
Leave Aaron and Eve some love and let them know which photo is your favourite! 20 comments gets them a free gift.
