Cherry Blossoms and the Legislature | Engagement Photography Victoria BC
I met Amanda and Yanni for their engagement shoot last weekend. What a beautiful day it turned out to be (the day before was miserable). We started at the Legislature, which has the most amazing pillars in the back. If you are interested in a shoot there, let’s do it! It’s amazing. (You do have to get a permit though, so make sure to tell me you want to shoot there at least 2 weeks before the day of the shoot).
These guys are so great. I’m looking forward to their wedding in May!
I love me some brick!
See, I told you I love brick.
This one just struck me as a ying yang thing, so it had to be in black and white.
Whenever Amanda looked at Yanni, she just lights up.

Amanda wanted some cherry blossoms… don’t you just love this time of year? I love cherry blossom so much, so I was happy to oblige.
After the Legislature, we moved on to Beacon Hill Park. Beacon Hill is such a classic place to take photographs as it gives you such diverse backdrops. See, here we have stone masonry of the bridge.
And more cherry trees.
And lush trees!
And wonderful craggy trees. I heart Beacon Hill Park.
